Suffolk Doors and Windows Ltd - The Full Testimonial
How a website project became a long-term business relationship.
Working with Darren on websites, online presence and more.
Thank you, Darren, for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and detailed review.
It’s been an exciting journey working with you, seeing someone with so much talent, experience and a strong reputation start something new and develop it into two hugely successful businesses. Watching both grow, in a controlled and carefully planned way, has been a real pleasure.
I’m delighted to have played a small part along the way, and I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next.

I've worked with David for a good few years now and I honestly can't thank him enough for the amount of work and effort he has put into helping my businesses.
David originally helped me with some of the early decisions around Suffolk Doors and Windows and then built our website.
At the time, I remember thinking the website probably made us look a bit bigger and better than we actually were! David's view was that it showed where the business was going and that we were going to get there soon enough. To be fair to him, he was right.
The website brought us a lot of business. What I particularly noticed was the quality of the enquiries. We didn't seem to get loads of people just fishing around or wasting our time. They generally knew what we did, were looking for those services and a lot of those enquiries turned into work.
The business grew and eventually we decided to start Suffolk Roofline as a separate sister company.
By then it was a pretty easy decision who I was going to ask to help with it.
David got involved with the ideas and built the second website. Just like the first one, it started bringing us enquiries very quickly.
That's probably where I've realised that what David does is quite a bit more than just building websites or doing SEO.
I'm probably not the easiest person in the world to get ideas out of. I'll throw ten different thoughts at him, usually in completely the wrong order, change my mind halfway through and probably add another five while we're talking. Somehow he takes all that away and comes back with something clear and structured that actually makes sense.
He's also terrible for doing work you're not paying him for!
He'll be researching something for the website and suddenly phone or message me because he's spotted something else that could help the business. Some of the best conversations we've had haven't really been about websites at all.
That's why I've come to really trust his opinion.
We've even been out for a meal a couple of times recently so I can talk through some new ideas and projects with him and get his thoughts on which way I should go with them.
One thing I will say about David is that if he's doing something, he wants to do it properly. He'll disappear down a rabbit hole researching something, spend far more time on it than you expect and then somehow come back and explain it in a way that makes it all sound quite simple and obvious.
I've known him to work evenings and weekends because he wants to get something finished or get it right. He genuinely cares about whether the end result actually works for the business.
We're now going back to where we started and updating the original Suffolk Doors and Windows website. It's a few years old now and David has explained how much websites, Google and SEO have moved on since we first built it. It has done a brilliant job for us, but it's time to bring it up to date and hopefully get a few more years out of it.
And I've already told him he'll be involved when I start my next venture.
I suppose that's the best recommendation I can give him.
I used David for my first business. When that grew and led to a second business, I used him again. I'm using him again now to improve the original website and I'll be using him for whatever I do next.
If you're a local business or organisation and want somebody who will actually take an interest in what you're trying to achieve rather than just build you a website and send you the bill, I'd absolutely recommend giving David a call.
